Over the keyboard and through the Net
To Grandmother’s blog we go;
With fingers we trace our path through space
And dodge the spam and porno.
Over the keyboard and through the Net
To see Thanksgiving fare;
We’re wanting to read our Nana’s new feed
On what she will prepare.
Over the keyboard and through the Net
We long to see that she
Is going to cook by Paula Deen’s book
And give us food so yum-my.
Over the keyboard and through the Net
We open up the blog
“I’ve dissed Ms. Deen for food more green -
No bird, no cow, no hog.”
Over the keyboard and through the Net
We send her our reply:
“We’d better eat here, but please don’t fear -
We’ll pay for you to fly.”
Over the keyboard and through the Net
Our Nana, she did state,
“Am happy to say I’ll pay my way :
You’ve stepped up to the plate!”
